Had a great (wet) time at Antietam in December! We camped (swam) in the Appalachian Mountains of Maryland for two nights. Saturday, we explored (boated? swam more?) 6 miles around Antietam Battlefield.
Sadly, the Memorial Lights planned for the battlefield were rained out, but we stopped by to visit the Appalachian Trail Conference headquarters in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, because why not go to two more states on this trip?
Despite the rain and cold, it was a pretty great way to end our camping for 2018!
