February 2020 took us back to one of our favorite places – Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Blairstown, NJ. In addition to a scenic lake and easy access to the Appalachian Trail (with some great views), a certain horror movie about an unlucky day was also filmed here, and we slept in one of the cabins the movie was filmed in.

We took a five mile hike to Catfish Firetower, past a beaver dam at the top of a mountain. At the firetower, the fire spotter was nice enough to show the Scouts how to do the job.

Then it was back to the cabin for a cooking competition and board games. Sunday, we stopped at Hot Dog Johnnys for breakfast!

Little did we realize at the time that this would be our last camping trip for 14 long months…
