In March, Troop 48 ventured deep into the pygmy pines to SURVIVE for the weekend. Shelters, fire cooking, lashing, water treatment, guiding by the stars, and what to do in a survival situation took up the weekend. We stayed at Halgas Scout Camp, a Council property that isn’t camped in very often which has zero improvements, including no water and no bathrooms. Good times!
