On 9-11, we started with our opening and a moment of silence.
The Scouts then worked on tackling a cleanout of the shed and an organization of their patrol gear. A Scout is clean (ish)!
We closed the night out with a Scoutmaster Minute about Troop 48 alumnus Ian Denholm, who helped with communication after 9-11 using ham radio skills that he picked up in Scouting, which was needed in the days and weeks following the attacks as much of the areas communication equipment, which was located on the top of the World Trade Center, was wiped out.
